JOB DESCRIPTION ACCOUNTS MANAGER


Location: New Alkapuri

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Accounts Manager to oversee the financial operations and accounting processes within the organization. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience in accounting and finance, with a solid technical background in accounting practices, financial reporting, budgeting, auditing, and team management.
This role will involve overseeing daily accounting functions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial insights to senior management. The Accounts Manager will be a key player in driving financial efficiency and improving operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting & Analysis:
• Prepare and review accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Perform variance analysis and provide management with actionable insights on financial performance.
2. Accounts Payable and Receivable:
• Supervise the accounts payable and receivable teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, collections, and bank reconciliations.
3. Internal Controls & Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with all internal accounting policies, procedures, and applicable local and international financial regulations.
• Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and prepare the necessary documentation for review.
4. Team Leadership & Management:
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of accountants and junior financial staff.
• Conduct performance reviews, identify training needs, and support career development for team members.
  
5. Cash Management & Treasury:
• Oversee daily cash management, monitor cash flows, and ensure sufficient liquidity to meet operational needs.
• Manage banking relationships and ensure that all banking activities are conducted according to company policies.
  
6. Strategic Financial Guidance:
• Act as a financial business partner to senior management, providing strategic insights and recommendations for improving financial performance.
7. Accounting Software & System Management:
• Ensure the accuracy and proper use of accounting software
• Lead the implementation or upgrade of accounting systems and ensure the seamless integration with other business systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. or CMA/CA Interpassed
• 10-15 years of accounting experience with at least 5 years in a managerial or senior leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and auditing standards
• Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, etc.) and other financial modeling tools.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with a proven ability to mentor and motivate teams.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  Desirable Skills:
  
• Experience in managing cross-functional teams and working closely with senior management.
• Knowledge of advanced financial analysis, forecasting techniques, and financial modeling.
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools and financial reporting systems.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of international accounting practices and exposure to multi-country financial reporting.
