Area Sales Manager

Role & responsibilities

Job Description:

Responsible for implementing marketing strategies and campaigns for product promotion to companys customers in the specified region.

• Performs one-on-one meetings/ medical discussions with doctors and pharmacist
• Keep updated with the product and therapy area knowledge through constant training
• Perform Market Research and gather competitive intelligence/market trends
• Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
• Prepare management reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitor activities
• Regular meetings with pharmacists/retail chemist and stockist to ensure product availability
  at all times
• Set-up conferences and seminars for doctors

Preferred candidate profile

• Knowledge of Excel
• Minimum 3 Years Experience in Pharma market
• Experience in institutional sales and Tender business is preferred
• Good Communications and Interpersonal Skills
• Knowledge on Rare Diseases and HIV Disease will be an added advantage
