What we are looking for: We are looking for Frontend Developer for one of our internal projects.

Role: Frontend Developer

Location: Hyderabad

Shift timings: Overlapping US hours

Years of experience: 4 to 7+ Years of experience

Technologies: JavaScript, JQuery, Jest, HTML, CSS.

Skills:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript
• Expertise in writing unit tests using Jest, with a focus on ensuring high test coverage for UI components.
• Familiarity with modern front-end development tools like Webpack, Babel, and NPM/Yarn.
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating front-end unit tests into the development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Write comprehensive unit tests with Jest to ensure the stability and reliability of front-end components.
• Assess the existing front-end codebase to identify areas that require additional test coverage, focusing on edge cases and user interactions.
• Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to deliver consistent and efficient user experiences.
• Optimize application performance and responsiveness across different devices and browsers.
• Ensure smooth integration of UI components with back-end services and APIs.
• Implement best practices for code quality, security, and maintainability.
• Integrate unit tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that automated tests are run as part of the development and deployment process.
