AWS Data Engineer (4-7 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, deploy, and manage microservices architectures on AWS.

- Implement and manage Kubernetes for orchestrating and deploying microservices in cloud environments.

- Collaborate with development teams to implement and optimize AWS-based solutions for microservices.

- Utilize AWS services like EC2, EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, Cloud Formation, and VPC for building, deploying, and managing microservices.

- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools to automate the deployment of microservices.

- Design and deploy containerized microservices using Docker and manage them with Kubernetes.

- Ensure cloud architecture for microservices is secure, reliable, and cost-efficient.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues related to AWS services, microservices, Kubernetes, and containerized applications.

- Monitor the performance and availability of deployed microservices and optimize resource usage.

- Implement automated testing, monitoring, and logging systems to ensure the stability and security of microservices.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal security policies for microservices architecture.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in.Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 4+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure.

- Strong experience deploying and managing microservices architectures on AWS.

- Expertise in Kubernetes for container orchestration and microservices management.

- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or similar.

- Extensive experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar for automating microservice deployments.

- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker.

- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and IAM (Identity and Access Management) for microservices.

- Experience in monitoring and troubleshooting microservices in production.

- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IAC) using tools like Terraform or Cloud Formation.

Preferred Skills :

- AWS certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, etc.

- Familiarity with service mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd.

- Experience with API Gateway, service discovery, and inter-service communication for microservices.

- Knowledge of cloud-native monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, or ELK stack.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
