Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer who is passionate about

building robust and scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive

experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices, as well as a strong understanding

of software design patterns and principles. As a Senior Developer, you will be expected

to lead a team of developers, mentor junior staff, and contribute to architectural

decisions.

Job Location: Trivandrum (Client Location)

Key Responsibilities:

• Java & Spring Boot Development: Design, develop, and maintain high performance, scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Unit & Integration Testing: Write unit test cases using Mockito and perform integration tests to ensure the reliability of your code.
• Database Management: Work extensively with RDBMS, preferably PostgreSQL, to manage and optimize database interactions.
• Design Patterns & SOLID Principles: Apply design patterns and SOLID principles to create clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Microservices Architecture: Develop microservices with a focus on tracing, monitoring, and observability, ensuring high availability and resilience.
• Kubernetes & Elasticsearch: Utilize Kubernetes for container orchestration and Elasticsearch for search and analytics functions.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of backend developers, guiding them in best practices, code reviews, and technical problem-solving.

Qualifications:

• Experience: (2.6 - 5 years) and (5 - 7 Years) of experience in Java and Spring Boot development.
• Testing: Proven experience with unit testing frameworks like Mockito and integration testing.
• RDBMS: Strong working knowledge of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
• Design & Principles: Deep understanding of design patterns and SOLID principles.
• Microservices: Hands-on experience in microservices development with a strong focus on observability.
• Kubernetes & Elasticsearch: Working knowledge of Kubernetes and Elasticsearch.
• Architecture: Ability to understand and contribute to complex architectural patterns.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience in Agile methodologies and practices.
