Parts Author

Job Description:

Create/revise and publish Parts Manual into Windchill using Arbortext Editor OR any Content Management System(CMS).

1.Gather and analyse technical information (ECN, BOM, Drawings, CAD, etc.)
2. Prepare and get approved markups/manuscript for content creation/revision into parts manual
5. Self-review and Peer Review for Proof Copy and Final Copy
6. Manage parts list, illustrations, and reusable content into Windchill, Teamcenter OR any CMS.
7. Coordinate with Peer Tech Writer, Illustrator, Project Lead and Onsite Lead.
8. Record and release quality, delivery, and other project metrics/KPIs.

Skill Required:
1. Structured/Topic Based Authoring using Arbortext into Windchill
2. Tech Illustrations using IsoDraw, Creo Parametric, Creo View, Creo Illustrate, Adobe Illustrator, etc.
3. Review & Impact Analysis of Engineering Change Notice, Bill of Material, Engineering Drawing, CAD, etc.
4. Truck & Off-highway product knowledge e.g. parts management, operation, service, diagnostic, etc.
5. Quality Management tools processes and systems
