Design Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and optimize gating and riser systems using MAGMASOFT simulation software.
• Analyze casting processes to identify areas for improvement in energy and material efficiency.
• Collaborate with foundry engineers to implement simulation results into practical applications.
• Conduct simulations to predict and mitigate casting defects.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on simulation findings and recommendations.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in casting technologies and simulation methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related field.
• Experience with casting process simulation software, preferably MAGMASOFT®.
• Strong understanding of foundry processes and materials.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.
