Manager Accounts & Taxation

Role & responsibilities

* Preparation of quarterly, half yearly annual accounts and finalization of accounts of group companies.

* Filing of statutory Reports

* Handling statutory matters including Income Tax/GST/VAT, transfer pricing issues, Work closely with the tax department to ensure performance of tax planning, client interaction and special projects.

* Looking after accounts receivables/payable, TDS, Bank reconciliation etc.

* Preparation of balance sheet and audit report of the company.

* Undertaking financial audits represent clients with IRS, State or other audits.

* Maintaining accounting ledgers and account reconciliations.

* Complete the statutory and other audits within the stipulated time.

* Preparing and analysing accounting records and financial statements reports also responsible for MIS report of finance accounting.

* Research and resolve tax and accounting issues affecting our firm & Review completed tax forms and provide recommendations to junior members of our team when needed

* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through ongoing communication and exceptional service.

Preferred candidate profile

* Bachelors Degree in Accounting required (Masters preferred) / CA

* 5+ years experience in public accounting.

* Strong knowledge of Quick Books.

* In-depth tax knowledge at the local, state and federal levels.

* Dedicated to providing exceptional customer service to clients.

* Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

* Should have worked with product based companies.

* Should be a Team Manager

* Mumbai Candidates preferred.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel and Power Point (Presentations)

* Strong analytical & grasping abilities.
