- Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment and ensure calibration to ensure accurate testing results.
- Coordinate with external laboratories for specialized testing requirements in the food industry.
- Train and supervise lab technicians on quality control procedures and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of quality control tests, results, and corrective actions taken.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes in the food industry.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to food quality and safety.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to address quality concerns and drive improvements.
- Implement and maintain hygiene and sanitation standards in the lab environment as per food industry guidelines.
