EDR - L2 Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) Engineer to join our team in Noida, India

The ideal candidate will play a critical role in defending our organization against cyber threats by monitoring, investigating, and responding to security incidents on endpoints

Responsibilities:

Deploy, configure, and maintain EDR solutions to monitor endpoint activity for suspicious behavior


Analyze and investigate security alerts generated by the EDR solution to identify and prioritize potential threats


Conduct incident response activities, including containment, eradication, and remediation of endpoint threats


Participate in threat hunting activities to proactively identify and disrupt malicious activity


Stay up-to-date on the latest cyber threats and EDR technologies


Assist with the creation and implementation of EDR policies and procedures


Document and report on security incidents and EDR activities


Collaborate with other security teams, including Security Analysts and Incident Responders


Qualifications:

1+ years of experience in a security operations role, preferably with EDR experience


Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and principles


Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems


Working knowledge of scripting languages like Python or PowerShell (a plus)


Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills


Strong communication and collaboration skills


Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
