Job Description

  • Report to Tunnel Manager and in-charge of BHS TBM
  • Monitor activities including daily operations, CHIs, cutter spare management, temporary ring removal, tunnel fit-up installation etc.
  • Appoint point-of-contact to liaise with Client and Consultants on both technical aspects and other management issues.
  • Involve in planning and executing of action plans to overcome difficult ground conditions
  • Managing and supervising temporary works for tunnelling activities (i.e. Corbel casting, intermate slab installation and casting works)
  • Preparing Risk Assessments to identify and assess foreseeable risks arising from the workplace or work processes.
  • Involved in planning and executing of action plans to overcome difficult ground conditions.
  • Key Selection and Checking of Ring build quality.
  • Reconciliation of excavated spoil and Monitoring AEM during mining
  • Planning and managing of shift tunnel crew allocation and ensure smooth handing over between shifts
