Job Description
Knowledge of turbine and generator erection.
Knowledge of turbine and generator auxilaries.
Knowledge of set parameters of turbine auxilaries and generator auxilaries.
Experience of erecting, overhauling , disassembly and assembly of rotors in stators.
Acceptance criteria of mechanical assemblies. Electrical testing and acceptance criteria of high voltage, breakdown tests, insulation tests.
Knowledge of testing of generator auxilaries , seal oil flushing, lube oil flushing, stator cooling water system and its testing criteria at site.
Electrical testing of generator and its windings.
Mechanical tests of turbine and its piping for various systems like lube oil , EH oil system, gland steam system, Jacking Oil system.
Knowledge about steam purity criteria, how to prove the criteria at site.
Knowledge of turbine clearances both radial and axial , how the same can be adjusted at site.
