Job Description
- TBM Design and Engineering:
- Contribute to the design and engineering of TBM systems, including cutterheads, grippers, thrust blocks, and hydraulic systems.
- Conduct technical evaluations of TBM proposals from various manufacturers.
- Develop detailed engineering drawings and specifications for TBM components.
- TBM Assembly and Commissioning:
- Oversee the assembly and commissioning of the TBM, ensuring adherence to manufacturers guidelines and project specifications.
- Coordinate with the electrical and control systems teams to ensure seamless integration of TBM components.
- TBM Maintenance and Repair:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive TBM maintenance plan.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor the performance of TBM components and identify potential problems.
- TBM Operations:
- Provide technical support to the TBM operations team.
- Analyze TBM performance data to identify areas for improvement.
- Optimize TBM performance through modifications and upgrades.
- Safety and Quality:
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Monitor quality control procedures to ensure the TBM operates efficiently and reliably.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of TBM operations, maintenance activities, and performance data.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations.
