Sr. Design Engineer - Electrical (Power Systems)

Experience in marine/ aeronautical/ PGD industry with understanding of electrical system schematics and interfaces with other systems and use of 3D CAD design tools.

Knowledge of selection / calculation for the electrical design aspects including:

• Selection of motor and starters based on pump specifications
• Preparation of power distribution network with all components from source to end consumer
• Consumer load calculations
• Selection of breakers (ACBs and MCBs) based on type of consumers
• Selection/calculation of cables based on type of load

Knowledge of national and international standards related to electrical equipment and should be proficient in reading and tracing electrical circuits. Should have technical and application based knowledge on DC sources (batteries) and distribution network (source to consumer).

Ability to understand EMI/EMC requirements.

Experience of handling a team of engineers, preferably in 3D CAD based design environment.

Proficiency in MS office (MS word and MS excel) and AutoCAD is essential.

Strong technical skills and communication skills.
