HVAC ENGINEER

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR HVAC ENGINEER, 4-8 YEARS EXPERIENCE

• Able to perform cooling & Heating load calculations in Hourly Analysis program software and in Excel.

• Calculate ventilation requirements

• Selection and sizing of HVAC equipment like Chillers, Air Handling Units, Pumps, Fans etc.

• Fan static pressure calculations & Pump head calculations

• Able to perform Chilled Water pipe sizing, VRF systems & associated piping.

• Able to take the bill of quantities as per the drawings pertaining to HVAC

• Assist the cad person to prepare the drawings starting from concept to Good for Construction

• Basic knowledge in the costing is appreciated

• Co-ordinate and collaborate with other disciplines for the HVAC requirements.

• Co-ordinate with related sub-contractors, Vendors.

• Review of Technical data sheets, GA drawings of HVAC equipment s

• Follow ASHRAE, ISHRAE building codes

Required:

• Bachelor s degree plus experience in the HVAC engineering industry
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Punctual and able to meet deadlines
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience with AutoCAD, Hourly Analysis Program (HAP)
• Should have complete knowledge of MS-Office, MS-Excel

Preferred:

• Experience with 3D Modeling software Revit
