Tunnel Engineer

Designation - Tunnel Engineer (Mechanical)

Minimum Education Qualifications - Full-Time Diploma / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering

Minimum Work Experience - 2 years experience for B.Tech and 4 years for Diploma degree holder

Job Responsibilities -

• Planning of Tunnelling Mechanical activities related to TBM Procurement, Assembly, Launching, TBM Operations, LOCO Opefrations, Breakthrough and Retrieval
• Monitoring for management of preliminary property protection (settlement) studies, Tunneling Methodology Report, Tunneling / construction methods and coordination with systems and station consultants.
• Conduct daily site inspection and supervision of deep excavation / mined and bored tunneling works according to DTA (Design tunnel alignment).
• Supervision work on a TBM machine controlling the tunnel labour in excavation and ring building.
• Maintain site records of excavated volumes, grouting records and other construction works.
• Review and prepare method statements for submission to client.
• Monitor and track site progress, manpower mobilization and equipment deployment.
• Ensure job safety analysis and site safety compliance.
• Coordinate various subcontractors to ensure work runs smoothly.
