Key Account Manager (IT sales) WFO-Pune
Job Description:
- We are looking to hire an experienced Key Account Manager who will be responsible for managing key accounts, maintaining a long-term relationship with accounts and maximizing sales opportunities within them.
- The key account manager's responsibilities include growing Perennial's revenue by ensuring that key clients are satisfied with the services provided, identifying new business opportunities for key clients, and attending all meetings, conventions and training workshops.
- To be successful as a key account manager, you should be able to analyze data and sales statistics and improve business and marketing strategies.
- Ultimately, an exceptional key account manager should be able to manage multiple key accounts without compromising on the quality of services provided.
What You'll Do:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs, and ensuring their satisfaction with the company's services.
- Developing and executing strategic account plans to drive growth and maximize revenue from key accounts.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for key clients, addressing their inquiries, resolving issues, and proactively identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Conducting regular business reviews and performance analyses for key accounts, providing valuable insights and recommendations to enhance client partnerships.
- Negotiating contract renewals and pricing agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms for both the company and key clients.
- Identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts and strategizing to expand the company's footprint in the market.
- Analyzing competitor activities and market dynamics, adjusting account strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive advantage.
- Keeping track of key performance indicators (KPIs) and key account metrics, using data-driven insights to measure success and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborating with internal teams, such as business development, marketing and technology, to deliver exceptional customer experiences and meet client expectations.
- Staying updated with industry trends and market developments, anticipating changes in clients' needs, and tailoring solutions to meet evolving requirements.
Who You Are:.
- You have a Masters Degree in Marketing or Business Administration.
- You have a strong understanding of technology services in the custom application development and outsourced product development segments.
- You have at least 4 years of experience of selling fixed bid and staff augmentation service models.
- You have a strong track record of success in key account management with at least 2 years of experience.
- You have experience in delivering client-focused solutions.
- You can analyze and draw inferences from data.
- Familiarity with CRM tools would be a plus.
- You possess excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
- You demonstrate the ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
