Process Engineer - Kurlis
The Process Engineer is required to lead and support New Product Introduction(Cable assembly/Wiring harness) from inception to production and develop manufacturing work instructions. The candidate is also required to develop a continuous improvement culture on processes, skill sets and equipment to enhance quality and operational excellence.
Roles and responsibilities.
Provide NPI (New Product Introduction) Support to production;
Create, compile & update process cycle time;
Introduce new equipment, products, and processes.
Lead/support process improvement initiative;
Work with project teams to identify issues and risks.
During new product development integrate with Engineers, Product Engineers, Quality Engineers or Production Department to ensure cost effective new product development and introduction into manufacturing;
Develop manufacturing Work Instructions;
Requirements
B-Tech /Diploma in Engineering, Science or Mathematics
Min. 3 years of manufacturing process engineering experience, preferably dealing with wire harness or cable assembly
Has worked in Electronics product manufacturing environment
Computer literate with hands-on experience in Excel
Experienced using drawing software Autocad will be an advantage
Good product & process knowledge for wire harness;
Good experience & knowledge of equipment /machine for wire harness;
