Product Development Engineer

Major Responsibilities :

1. Coordinate with manufacturing plants / TOP for product development

2. Prepare/ Review / verify Design calculations, and provide inputs to Assistant Design Engineers & CAD Engineers.

3. Receive, analyse & comment on inputs / suggestions received from manufacturing plants.

4. Release final drawing / design to manufacturing plants.

5. Maintain Quality Records and Schedule / Budget records for given projects.

6. Ensure compliance of products with design standards / codes

7. Perform following activities under guidance:

a. Conduct conceptual design studies pre-development / during development.

b. Study of Functional requirement specification & preparation of Technical Specification.

c. Guiding team(s) for various projects / assignments.

Prepare the documents as per ISO 9001 requirements and also for IBR / CE marking related Submissions and certifications / attending internal & external audits.

8. Handling Calculations related to enquiries

Functional Skills :

1. Sound engineering temperament

2. Proficiency in MS Excel

3. Knowledge of 3D CAD System with Unigraphics is preferred

4. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and foundry practices is desirable

5. Ability to independently co-ordinate and guide team of 2 to 3 engineers
