System Analyst - Data Management

System Analyst Data Management Responsibilities

• Handle large-scale image datasets, ensuring their organization, integrity, and accessibility.

• Maintain structured and logical directory hierarchies for efficient data retrieval.

• Implement data version control mechanisms to track and manage changes in datasets effectively.

• Ensure regular backups and data security protocols are in place.

• Use Linux systems for data organization, processing, and maintenance.

• Develop and utilize shell scripts to automate data workflows.

• Collaborate with Data Collectors to ensure timely and accurate data acquisition.

• Data Annotators to streamline annotation processes and resolve issues.

• Software Developers to support data integration into development pipelines.

• Researchers to understand data needs and deliver customized solutions.

• Extract and interpret statistical insights from datasets.

• Audit datasets regularly to ensure quality, consistency, and completeness.

• Provide summarized data reports to support research and development goals.

• Identify inefficiencies in data workflows and propose actionable improvements.

• Document data handling and processing procedures for team-wide adherence.

Qualifications

• Experience managing image data and ensuring efficient directory structures.

• Proficiency with Linux systems, including shell scripting.

• Familiarity with data version control tools (e.g., DVC, Git, or similar).

• Basic understanding of statistical analysis tools and methods.

• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Prior experience in data management or related roles is a plus.

• Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of data annotation platforms and machine learning pipelines.

• Proficiency in Python or other programming languages for data manipulation.

• Experience with cloud storage solutions and data backup practices.

• Collect, process, and analyze data from various sources.

• Develop reports and dashboards to visualize findings.

• Provide actionable insights to improve business operations.

• Collaborate with teams to identify data-driven solutions.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with data analysis tools

• Ability to communicate complex data insights effectively.
