1st Class Unrestricted Mines Manager (Metal mining)

The company is looking for a highly experienced 1st class (unrestricted) Mines Manager, to responsibly operate the underground mining operations. The candidate should be experienced in metal mining preferably Manganese ore. The candidate should've expertise in all underground mining activities i.e. shaft sinking, mine development and stoping process. The candidate will be responsible for all statutory duties stipulated under MMR 1961 for I Class Manager. Candidate will be required to relocate to the mines site which is in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible for all mining activities. (Production, Safety, Development, Statutory etc).
• Responsible for all compliance and coordination of various Govt. Dept. i.e. IBM,DGMS, State pollution board, MoEF, Explosives.
• Responsible for planning and execution of mining plan.
• Responsible for development of Mines.
• Plan, organize, and control all mining operations to achieve production targets within budgeted costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Develop short-term and long-term plans for mine development based on market demand and resource availability.
• Monitor production performance against planned targets and take corrective action as needed.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 20-30 years of experience in metal mining with expertise in manual underground mining operations.
  
• Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. degree in Mining.
• Managers Certificate of Competency - First Class (unrestricted) issued by DGMS
  
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale underground mines with complex geology.
