SAP FICO Functional Consultant

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled SAP FICO Consultant to join our team on Permanent role. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring and supporting the SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, ensuring alignment with business requirements, and optimizing financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

Business Process Analysis:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and propose efficient SAP solutions.
• Conduct process mapping and design, ensuring processes are streamlined and align with SAP best practices.

SAP FICO Configuration:

• Configure SAP FI (Financial Accounting) areas General Ledger Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, and CO (Controlling) areas Cost Center Accounting, Cost element Accounting, Profit Center accounting, Cost center budgeting, Internal Order budgeting and COPA.

Integrations:

• System integrations between SAP FICO and other SAP modules (MM, SD)
• Integration between SAP to Bank and vice versa

WRICEF Objects

• Required to work on all the WRICEF objects
• Need to identify the GAPS and provide the solutions
• Need to have an ability to provide a custom solution to the business if the business requirement is not fit in the Standard SAP

System Monitoring:

• Need to monitor the data flow from front end system to SAP
• Ensure all the data receive to SAP on daily basis

End-User Training & Support:

• Provide training to end-users and support them in day-to-day SAP FICO activities.
• Resolve issues and provide ongoing support for the SAP FICO system.
• Required to assist End-user for Month end and Year end activities

Testing & Troubleshooting:

• Lead and participate in testing cycles of Unit Testing and Integration Testing
• Assist user for complete User Acceptance testing
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP FICO-related issues and bugs.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Document configuration changes, End user manuals and update project documentation accordingly.
• Assist with reporting and month-end/year-end close processes in SAP

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Candidate should have at least 1 SAP FICO End-to-End implementation experience and 2 SAP AMS/Support experience

Experience:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in SAP FICO implementation and support.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA

Education:

• MBA or M com or Bachelors degree in Accounting and Finance
