REQUIRED FINANCE CONTROLLER
LOCATION: KOCHI
We are a BPO company operating from Kochi and looking for a Finance Controller who would be
working remotely for our client in Canada. The candidate should have the expertise in accounting and financial management, have a knack for numbers, should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and should have the ability to forecast and anticipate future trends and challenges.
Responsibilities
> Directing all aspects of accounting operations in QB, overseeing all transactions related to
general ledger, receivables, payables, payroll and financial reporting.
>Analysing company's financial results with respect to profits, trends, costs and compliance
with budgets. Issue regular status and ad hoc reports to senior management.
>Developing and coordinating all relationships with all stake holders.
>Developing and maintaining all necessary accounting policies and systems, including general
ledger and financial reporting. Ensuring that records are maintained in accordance with
generally accepted accounting principles. Oversee contract bookkeepers and other
outsourced service providers.
>Assisting senior management in financial planning and results management. Work with other
team members to understand revenue and cost drivers and define appropriate reports for
tracking.
>Coordinating, preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
> Managing all tax planning and compliance with all required national, state, local, payroll,
property and other applicable taxes.
>Managing cash flow.
Qualifications
1) 3-5 plus years of managerial accounting and financial management experience.
2) Experience working in a growing start up environment strongly preferred.
3) Masters degree in Accounting, Finance or Business. CA and/or CMA.
4)Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
5) Experience in a service business with activity-based project costing.
6)Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines.
7)Ability to work without direct supervision, and efficiently manage tasks and time.
