Operation Head - SMT Plant (8-10 yrs)

OPERATIONS HEAD INDUSTRIAL ELECTRONICS MANUFACTURING PLANT.

My clients A leading Indian manufacturer with annaul revenue of approx.USD 1.3 billion is looking for a Leader par excellence with experience in SMT line and electronics components for Industrial applications.

- If you have 8 plus years of experience and exposure of heading operations for SMT line and electronics components for Industrial applications.

- Prior hands on experience in Industrial Engineering/ME.

- Experience of setting up a Green / Brown field manufacturing set-up project.

- Plan, schedule, and monitor all production processes, including component placement, reflow soldering, and automated optical inspection (AOI).

- Ensure smooth and efficient workflow across all production lines. Monitor and analyze production performance data (e.g., yield, cycle time, downtime) to identify areas for improvement.

- Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes.

- Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance overall operational efficiency.

- Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and measure success. Investigate and resolve production bottlenecks and quality issues in a timely and effective manner.

- Implement and maintain robust quality control systems to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IPC-A-610).

- Conduct regular quality audits and implement corrective and preventive actions. Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to improve product design and manufacturability.

- Degree in Electronics.
