Board Support Package ( BSP ) Designer

• Develop and optimize BSP for OS and hypervisor platforms.

• Design software solutions for HVP & VxWorks.

• Collaborate with global engineering teams to deliver robust software solutions.

• Enhance features, processes, and propose product improvements.

• Deliver software solutions in line with customer requirements.

• Proven expertise in embedded software development .

• Self-motivated with a strong customer-first mindset .

• Excellent team collaboration and communication skills (oral and written).

• Ability to contribute ideas for product improvements and iteration cycles .

• Education : BTech / MTech in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.

• Experience : 7 15 years in embedded software development, with a focus on low-level OS capabilities.

Strong experience in developing:

• Device drivers , board support packages, and board bring-up .

• Software stacks in C and C++ .

• BSP, Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) , and bootloader development.

• Proficient in working with embedded systems, including processors, memory, peripherals, OS, and device drivers.

In-depth understanding of:

• ARM 64-bit or Intel Architecture processors.

• Embedded peripherals such as CPU, MMU, Cache, Interrupts, DMA, ADC/DAC, EEPROM, and Watchdog Timers.

• Debugging and troubleshooting hardware and software components.

Familiarity with:

• PIC, GIC, UART, Timers, Nexus Bus, Memory Controllers, etc

• Hypervisors and embedded virtualization mechanisms.

• Working knowledge of RTOS platforms such as QNX , VxWorks , FreeRTOS , and Linux (a plus).
