Job Description

We are seeking a Senior - Digital Government Advisory to join our team of experienced consultants and advisors, dedicated to transforming public sector organizations through digital innovation. In this role, you will work closely with government agencies, local authorities, and other public sector clients to provide strategic advice, implement digital transformation strategies, and enable the use of cutting-edge technologies to improve services, operations, and citizen engagement. You will leverage your expertise in digital government, policy, technology, and organizational change to deliver solutions that drive efficiency, transparency, and enhanced service delivery in the public sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Digital Transformation Strategy: Lead the development and execution of digital transformation strategies for government clients. Advise on the adoption of new technologies such as cloud computing, data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), and digital platforms to improve public sector operations and service delivery.

  • Government Policy & Regulation: Provide expertise on navigating government policies, digital regulations, and compliance standards. Help clients align their digital strategies with national and international standards, ensuring data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.

  • Project Leadership: Manage and oversee multiple advisory projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and meet client expectations. Lead teams of consultants, subject matter experts, and technical professionals to execute digital government initiatives effectively.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in government organizations, including senior leadership, project teams, and external partners. Act as the primary point of contact for clients and provide thought leadership on digital government trends and innovations.

  • Process Improvement: Work with government clients to identify opportunities for process optimization and digitalization. Advise on the reengineering of workflows, the implementation of automation technologies, and the development of new digital services to improve citizen engagement and government efficiency.

  • Technology Implementation & Integration: Guide the selection and implementation of appropriate technology solutions that align with government objectives. Ensure smooth integration of new digital platforms with existing systems and processes.

  • Change Management: Support government clients in managing organizational change during the implementation of digital solutions. Provide training, communication plans, and workshops to ensure successful adoption of new technologies and processes across public sector organizations.

  • Research & Innovation: Stay up to date on the latest trends and innovations in the digital government space. Provide recommendations on emerging technologies, practices, and methodologies that could be leveraged to improve government service delivery and enhance digital infrastructure.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Administration, Information Technology, Business Administration, Political Science, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in digital transformation, public sector consulting, or advisory services, with a focus on government clients.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing digital transformation strategies within the public sector, with a deep understanding of government operations, regulatory frameworks, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of emerging technologies in the public sector, including cloud computing, data analytics, AI, blockchain, and digital platforms.
  • Experience in project management , with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple client engagements, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure timely delivery of complex projects.
  • Excellent communication skills , with the ability to engage with senior government leaders, policy makers, and other stakeholders. Ability to present complex information in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to identify key opportunities and challenges in digital government and propose innovative, practical solutions.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with government digital transformation initiatives at the national, regional, or local government level.
  • Familiarity with government IT systems , digital platforms, and e-government services.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience applying them in public sector digital transformation projects.
  • Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, Agile), digital government frameworks, or relevant technology platforms are highly desirable.
  • Experience in change management and driving cultural shifts within public sector organizations.
