Job Description
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient data pipelines using PySpark.
- Implement data workflows using Spark for large-scale data processing.
- Optimize and tune Spark jobs for maximum performance.
- Collaborate with data scientists and business analysts to understand data requirements.
- Ensure data quality and reliability by implementing automated tests and validation frameworks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on big data processing.
- Proven experience with Python, PySpark, Spark and SQL.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and database management systems.
- Experience with distributed computing and parallel processing architectures.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Good to have working experience in Data bricks.
