Purpose of the job

Person should be well versed in accounting and must be currently handing policy holder related accounting viz. premium, policy holder benefits, unclaimed amount of policy holder etc.

Responsibilities of the job holder

1. To be responsible for checking provisions received from various Departments and correctly accounting of it
2. To assist the team in preparing monthly closing and quarterly auditing.
3. To do accounting for reinsurance.
4. To prepare monthly reports with complete analysis and reasoning of variance and submit to Department Head for review.
5. To prepare account analysis and submit to Department Head for review.
6. To prepare data required for Statutory Audit and internal audit purpose.
7. To study existing Departmental processes and do changes wherever applicable.
8. To make coordination with other stakeholders.
9. To prepare schedules related to statutory IRDA returns.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Qualification - Chartered Accountant
2. Candidate from Western Line Mumbai can apply
3. Experience - 1 - 3 years in accounting
4. Should have excellent communication and inter personal skills
5. Should be strong in handling multiple priorities
6. Should be able to coordinate end to end with other departments for approvals and payments
