Designation: Chief Financial Officer

Reporting to: MD

Department: Finance

Location: Mumbai

Total experience (in years): 20+ years

- Education Qualification: CA, Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.

- Skills(Technical & Functional): Payment Gateway SME, Financial Planning and Analysis.

- Attribute Strong business acumen in the Payment Gateway domain.

- Subject matter specialist in the Payment / Banking domain.

- Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements in the fintech industry.

- Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills.

Position Summary:

- The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy and driving the financial performance of our fintech organization.

- CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth objectives.

- This position requires a dynamic leader with a strong background in finance, strategic planning, and business operations within the fintech industry.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Financial Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and senior leadership team on financial matters.

- Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead the annual budgeting process and ongoing financial forecasting.

- Analyze financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed. Provide regular financial reports and insights to the executive team.

- Capital Management: Manage the company's capital structure, including equity and debt

financing.

- Evaluate financing options and negotiate terms with investors and financial institutions. Optimize capital allocation to support business growth and maximize shareholder value.

- Risk Management: Assess and mitigate financial risks, including market, credit, and operational risks.

- Develop risk management strategies and policies to safeguard the company's financial assets and reputation.

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements. Be updated on changesin regulatory environment and implement necessary controlsto maintain compliance.

- Treasury Management: Oversee cash flow planning and treasury operations. Manage relationships with banking partners and optimize liquidity management strategies.

- Financial Controls: Establish and maintain robust financial controls and procedures. Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.



- Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing finance team. Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to finance staff.

- Risk management: Identify and mitigate financial risks and ensure compliance with regulations.

- Establish, review, and optimize department rules, frameworks, procedures, and workflows.

- Direct the documentation, maintenance, and reporting of financial information.

- Strategic planning: Work with senior executivesto develop and execute the company'sstrategic plan.

- Investor relations: Communicate with investors and other stakeholders about the company's financial performance.

- Budgeting: Develop and monitor budgetsfor business operations.

- Financial reporting: Provide regular financial reports to the board and shareholders.

- Accounting: Develop accounting functions, reporting, and internal financial processes.

- Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and tax requirements.

- Financial Analysis: Analyze businesstrends and financial statementsto aid strategic decision making.

- Employee Stock Ownership Plan: Active participation in designing and standardizing Employee Stock Ownership Plan at organization level.
