Technical Trainer

Role Overview/ Job Purpose (Basic Information related to the role A Brief in 2-3 lines)

• The incumbent is responsible for conducting technical training, reinforce Color Seminar and Color Management & Application training and evaluation of learning and development programs for service staffs at BIN & Partners end and assist in achievement of the organisations training goals.
• The incumbent will create and promote a culture of learning by involving maximum service force to participate in all scheduled training program.

Key Responsibilities (Detailed outline of the role holder)

Planning : -

• Assist in Training Curriculum preparation
• Assist in Editing/update/development of Training Material
• Prepare Pre/Post- test paper & Interim quiz
• Impart technical training
• Technical Skills assessment and outward evaluation of trained service staffs
• Determines overall effectiveness of programs and training and makes improvements as necessary.

Implementing : -

• Ensure quality Technical training impart & achieve the expected competency level in CEs.
• Ensuring that all service staff are trained on mandatory training program.
• Asist in implementing service staff skill / training evaluation process.
• Track Individual assessment timelines and skill enhancement to the desired level

Documenting : -

• Training report preparation in PCP/LMS
• Track Individual assessment timelines and update the status with comments.
• Track and Monitor new customer engineer development program
• Record staffs Skills assessment data in PCP
• Analyse and evaluate changes in practice over time and make close loop

Additional Duties : -

• Complete the BIN technical development program
• Filed visit as & when require for call quality check
• Create instructor materials (course outlines, background material, instructional materials, and training aids)
• Assist in other events conducted by the Corporate Education Center
• Other responsibilities if assigned by the division

Desired Skills : -

• Hands-on experience on office /production machine
• Specialized knowledge of specific Office Automation (Office and Production machines)
• Knowledge of Color Management, Workflow, Color proofing,
• Applications like -CCS, Coreldraw, Adobe, Pit stop etc. , Fiery Controller, Window & Mac
• Great Interpersonal and Communication skills (Reading, Writing and Speaking)
• Behavioral and Soft skills Trainings
• Agile /Adaptable/ Futuristic learning approachidentifying new tools for knowledge transfer

Experience : -

• Experience should be minimum 7 to 8 years as a technical trainer, training specialist, or in Technical Profile

Required Qualification : -

• Color Management Certification
• Technical Qualification Like B.Tech or Diploma in Printing Technology

Functional/ Leadership Competencies (Please mention at least 4-5 competencies)

• Ensure training content effectiveness involving service staff in technical training.
• Determine tailored training a line to field requirement to improve technical skills level
• Ensure training compliance process as define in training polices and procedures

Preferences/ Desirables Differentiators for the role/ Specific Qualification/ Certification/ Industry Specific etc.

• Should have experience of handling Production Printer (Color Knowledge is a must for this role)
• Should have experience of imparting training to junior & senior engineers as well
• Should be good in personality and communication skills as well
• We will look at people from within the industry, and people handing Office Printers & MFPs
• Should be willing to Travel PAN India to impart training to engineers
• Strong technical and hands on knowledge of Production Printers or Large format/Wide Format/A3 printers
• Professional technical training certification is preferred
