Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Windchill Developer Runtime Associate with 9-10 years of experience in PTC Windchill PLM solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Windchill applications, ensuring optimal system performance, and supporting business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Development Customization:

• Design, develop, and implement custom solutions within Windchill using Java, JSP, XML, and Windchill APIs.
• Develop workflows, reports, and enhancements for Windchill PDMLink and other Windchill modules.
• Configure and customize Windchill business rules, lifecycles, and workflows.
• Work with Windchill REST and SOAP Web Services for integrations with third-party applications.

Runtime Support Maintenance:

• Monitor and maintain Windchill system performance, including troubleshooting issues, debugging errors, and applying fixes.
• Perform Windchill Rehost, patches, Upgrade and hotfix installations.
• Manage Windchill data migration, backup, and recovery processes.
• Ensure Windchill security, user access management, and compliance with IT policies.

Integration Deployment:

• Integrate Windchill with enterprise systems.
• Automate deployment and configuration processes using DevOps tools.
• Optimize Windchill database performance and indexing strategies.

Collaboration Support:

• Work closely with designers, and end-users to understand requirements and implement solutions.
• Provide technical support and training to users and junior developers.
• Document best practices, development standards, and troubleshooting guides.

Education Required Skills:

• Bachelor s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• 9-10 years IT / PLM experience, preferably PTC product portfolio including 5+ years of Windchill Development Runtime experience
• Strong expertise in PTC Windchill PDMLink and related modules.
• Hands-on experience in Java, JSP, XML, Windchill APIs, and REST/SOAP Web Services.
• Proficiency in Windchill Business Administration - lifecycles, workflows, object initialization rules, and policies.
• Experience in Windchill customization, deployment, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of PLM concepts, BOM management, and Change Management processes.
• Experience with CAD integrations (Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).
• Familiarity with Windchill System Administration, Apache Tomcat, Vaults, workers and Oracle/MS SQL Databases.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in a runtime environment.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps tools is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Windchill Certification (PTC Windchill Certified Professional)
• Experience with Azure Cloud-based Windchill deployments
• Experience in Windchill ThingWorx Navigate and IoT integrations
