Tax Preparer

Role Description

• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns (1040,1065,1120,1120S), including federal, state, and local taxes.
• Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns in compliance with IRS regulations.
• Calculate and review tax payments and refunds.
• Gather necessary information and documentation from clients.
• Respond to client inquiries and guide on tax-related matters.
• Provide tax planning advice to clients to optimize their tax positions.
• Identify potential tax credits, deductions, and liabilities.
• Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax laws.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all tax documents and client interactions.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of client information.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Enrolled Agent (EA) preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in US tax preparation or related field.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws.
• Proficiency in tax preparation software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Should be available for Immediate joining.
