EHS Officer

To develop, implement, and manage safety, health, and environmental programmes to ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal legislation and its update.

To generate and provide environmental, health, and safety training for staff members.

Investigating events, mishaps, and near-misses in order to determine the underlying causes and appropriate remedies and maintain its records.

To conduct routine workplace inspections to identify potential hazards and offer solutions to minimize the accidents

To keep track of the functioning modes of the safety equipment, such as CO2 flooding systems, fire extinguishers, and hydrants, manual call points, fire exit doors at designated locations.

To plan out emergency response actions in case of mishap or emergency.

To prepare evacuation plan and maintain and update fire team on require basis

Responsible for creating plan layout and update related to EHS

To maintain test reports and maintenance records of fire extinguishers.

To develop all the reports related to safety system and its inspection and sustain the same along with it offer solution wherever required.

To maintain records related to master list of PPE, its distribution list to department.

To maintain records related to master list of fire instruments, fire instrument inspection records, incident & accident investigation records, near miss and mishaps records, permit to work record.

To conduct fire drill mock drill on timely basis and maintain its records.

To conduct tool box talk regularly in all department and maintain its record.

To maintain static records at regular intervals in gravure department.

To forward hydrant check list record on daily basis to management.

To compile reports on the state of occupational health, safety, and the environment for senior management.

To communicate with outside organisations like insurance providers, regulatory organisations, and occupational health providers.

Creating and overseeing the department of environmental, health, and safetys budget.

Creating and implementing policies and procedures related to the environment, health, and safety.

To assist with certification like BRCGS, ISO 14001 45001, and other related certifications and maintain its related records

Improve workplace safety and employee productivity by transitioning from manual safety procedures to digital safety management systems.
