Job Title: Junior Civil Engineer NDT and Concrete Durability

Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Junior Civil Engineer to join our NDT and Concrete Durability section. The selected candidate will assist in conducting advanced testing and analysis, contributing to the assessment of structural health and durability of materials used in infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods, including ultrasonic pulse velocity, rebound hammer tests, and more.
• Perform concrete durability tests such as rapid chloride penetration test (RCPT), water permeability, and carbonation depth assessment.
• Collect and interpret data to evaluate the quality and performance of construction materials.
• Prepare detailed reports summarizing test results, observations, and recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and clients to provide technical insights and solutions.
• Ensure testing complies with relevant industry standards and project specifications.
• Maintain and calibrate NDT equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Adhere to safety standards while working in the laboratory and on-site.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of NDT methods and concrete durability testing is highly desirable.
• Prior experience in an NABL-accredited laboratory will be a significant advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with relevant testing standards (e.g., ASTM, IS codes) is a plus.Role & responsibilities
