Assistant General Manager - Planning

Note: Candidates with building construction experience are preferred and encouraged to apply. Job Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Monitoring:
  

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project construction schedules, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
    
  • Create and manage project budgets, including cost estimations and financial planning.
    
  • Generate and analyze MIS reports to provide insights into project progress and performance.
    

  • Resource Management:
    

    • Determine and allocate the necessary resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, required for project execution.
      
    • Coordinate with various departments for timely ordering and procurement of resources.
      
    • Monitor resource usage and expenditure to identify shortages and assess productivity.
      

    • Billing & Documentation:
      

      • Prepare and verify Client RA bills and sub-contractor bills, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual terms.
        

      • Project Execution & Coordination:
        

        • Develop and implement the Proposed Project Execution Plan (PEP), outlining the projects scope, timeline, and deliverables.
          
        • Analyze the gaps between planned and actual project performance, identifying areas for improvement and corrective action.
          
        • Collaborate with the project team and other stakeholders to address issues and optimize project outcomes.
          

        • Reporting & Analysis:
          

          • Monitor project progress against the construction schedule and budget, highlighting variances and recommending corrective measures.
            
          • Prepare regular status reports and updates for senior management and clients.
            

          • Quality & Compliance:
            

            • Ensure all project activities comply with relevant quality standards, safety regulations, and contractual requirements.
              
              
              
              Requirements
              

              Educational Qualification: PGP from NICMAR or BE / B.Tech Civil (Full Time) / Diploma in Civil .
              

              Experience: 15-20 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on planning and monitoring.
              

              Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in project management software, and excellent communication abilities.
