Splunk Developer - IT Operations (10-15 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect, design, and implement scalable Splunk solutions to address complex IT operations challenges.

- Leverage AIOps capabilities to automate incident management, root cause analysis, and anomaly detection.

- Integrate Splunk with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and third-party monitoring solutions.

- Develop and optimize Splunk searches, dashboards, and alerts to provide actionable insights.

- Utilize Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL) to create advanced queries and automation workflows.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Splunk solutions.

- Stay updated on the latest Splunk features and best practices.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 10+ years of experience in IT operations, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience with Splunk.

- Proven expertise in AIOps, including machine learning and AI application in IT operations.

- Deep understanding of Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Cloud, including architecture design, custom application development, and integrations.

- Proficiency in Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL) and ability to create optimized queries, dashboards, and automation workflows.

- Successful implementation of AIOps solutions (e.g, Moogsoft, Dynatrace, New Relic).

- Experience with cloud-native monitoring tools (e.g, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

- Proficiency in automation and scripting languages (e.g, Python, PowerShell).

- Strong understanding of IT operations, including monitoring, incident management, log management, and performance optimization.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey technical concepts to stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Splunk certifications (e.g, Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect, Administrator).

- Experience with other AIOps platforms (e.g, BigPanda, Dynatrace, IBM Watson AIOps).

- Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and container orchestration.
