Job Description
As a Senior Data Analyst (PowerBI), you will play a crucial role in enhancing our operational efficiency, improving quality, reducing errors, and innovating new business processes. You will work closely with management, operations, data management teams, and finance business partners to gather, analyze, and provide insightful recommendations based on data-driven insights.
This role demands a strong technical background, hands-on experience, and the ability to understand business problems and convert them into compelling Power BI reports. You should be innovative, a problem solver, and capable of handling projects with minimal guidance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards, including data modeling, visualization, and advanced analytics.
- Engage closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
- Cultivate a deep understanding of business operations and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure reports and dashboards are meaningful and impactful.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate data-driven decisions and drive business growth.
- Continuously enhance Power BI development processes and adhere to best practices.
- Be an active contributor to the Internal Power BI Community.
Our requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in developing and implementing Power BI solutions.
- Proficient in data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
- Experience in creating Power BI reports and dashboards using DAX and M language.
- Strong knowledge of statistical data analysis.
- Good understanding of UI/UX design.
- Ability to work with large data sets and conduct thorough data analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and fabric is advantageous.
- Certifications in Power BI PL-300 are preferred.
