Kivi Capital - Analyst/Associate - Quantitative Trading (0-2 yrs)

We are actively seeking computer science, mathematics and electrical engineering majors for quantitative researcher positions in our core investment management team. Candidates need not have prior knowledge of financial concepts, but must possess a keen interest in learning about the various facets of financial markets.

Responsibilities (include, but not limited to the following) -

- Use advanced mathematical and statistical techniques to model and predict market movements

- Analyze large financial data sets to identify trading opportunities

- Research and apply concepts from academic journals and financial literature, and translate research into fully automated trading strategies

- Design, model and deploy high-frequency trading strategies on different asset classes

- Manage execution of strategies through an in-house algorithmic trading platform

- Portfolio monitoring, risk management and performance analysis

Qualifications:

- A degree from a top Indian university (or from other leading universities in the world) in a highly analytical field, such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Financial Engineering

- Ranked in the top 10% during undergrad

- A strong background in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming

- Proficiency in Python/R, C#/C++

- Quantitative aptitude and research oriented mindset

- Strong work ethic

- The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
