About the Role:

We're seeking a driven and experienced Category Manager to join our core D2R team. You will play a crucial role in building a deep understanding of your assigned category, including market demand, key products and brands, existing supply chains, and emerging trends. You will also be responsible for identifying, onboarding, and nurturing relationships with key brands and sellers to ensure a vibrant and competitive marketplace. This is a high-impact opportunity to shape the future of retail distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Assortment:

- Source and curate a diverse product selection aligned with our category strategy and retailer demand.

- Identify and onboard new brands and sellers to expand product offerings and enhance marketplace competitiveness.

- Conduct thorough market research to identify new trends, product opportunities, and competitive offerings.

- Develop and maintain a balanced and profitable product portfolio.

Supplier Relationship Management:

- Cultivate and manage strong relationships with suppliers, brands, and manufacturers.

- Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts.

Sales and Marketing Collaboration:

- Partner with other teams to develop effective promotional strategies that boost product visibility and drive sales.

Retailer Focus:

- Champion a retailer-centric approach, ensuring products meet their needs and preferences.

- Leverage retailer feedback and insights to refine product assortment and enhance the overall experience.

What We're Looking For:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

- Proven track record of successful product selection and supplier negotiations.

- Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making abilities.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Experience in identifying and onboarding brands or sellers.

- Deep understanding of General Trade.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
