Accountant

Role & responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable, and receivable.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Maintain general ledger and ensure timely reconciliation of accounts.
• Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns as required by Indian tax regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and coordinate with auditors during audits.
• Ensure compliance with all financial and statutory requirements.
• Support in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to monitor financial performance.
• Generate periodic MIS reports and provide financial insights for decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency.
• Ensure accurate and organized record-keeping of all financial transactions.
• Work closely with the Accounts Head and other departments to ensure financial operations align with organizational goals.
• Provide financial support and guidance to junior staff as required.
