Risk Engineer

Job Title: Risk Engineer. Location: India (Hybrid). Company: Global Insurance Company. Job Overview. Our client, a rapidly growing global insurance company, is seeking to recruit three experienced Risk Engineers based in India. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, with significant experience in the Oil & Gas industry, and expertise in asset integrity, process safety, operational excellence, and turnaround management



Qualifications. Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering

Experience: years in Refinery, Chemical, Petrochemical, COMAH, or Hydrogen industries, preferably as a Survey Risk Engineer in Insurance or related sectors





Responsibilities. Conduct risk assessments to evaluate risk characteristics, client safety measures, and condition of assets to aid accurate risk pricing

Investigate major failures to determine liability and responsibility

Identify opportunities to enhance risk selection and assignment processes for improved efficiency and timeliness

Collaborate with stakeholders to implement alternative survey processes, including virtual surveys, to assess risks related to accidents, liability, and employee safety
