Hospital Construction Director

Role & responsibilities:

- Oversee construction process, from planning and design to execution and timely completion of the hospital

- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and medical professionals (in London) to ensure the facility meets high acuity and quality healthcare standards.

- Implement and enforce robust safety protocols throughout the construction process.

- Manage and monitor construction schedules, budgets, and quality assurance to deliver on time and within budget.

- Champion sustainable construction practices, ensure use of locally available and use of eco-friendly materials

- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and national regulations and codes

- Work close with all stakeholders, including government bodies, suppliers, to ensure support.

Qualifications:

Preferred candidate profile:

- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field;

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, with a clear focus on healthcare projects.

- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale Hospital construction projects.

- Strong understanding of JCI, NABH (2024) safety standards, quality protocols, and sustainable building practices.

- Through knowledge of Hospital design standards that help enhance clinical outcomes across various specialties
