Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to head our Media Reconciliation team. You will be responsible for setting the vision and direction for our team, ensuring the seamless execution of our media reconciliation process, and driving operational excellence. This role involves managing a large team of 15-35 reconciliation specialists, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring alignment with agency-wide strategic goals. The role requires work hours aligning with Mediabrands' standard shift timing for effective stakeholder coordination.


Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Team Management: Provide strong leadership and direction to the team, inspiring and motivating individuals to achieve strategic goals. Set a clear vision, drive performance, and foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement strategic plans for the Media Reconciliation team, aligning with agency-wide objectives. Identify opportunities for innovation and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Performance Management and Development: Set Key Result Areas (KRAs) for team members and conduct quarterly one-on-one sessions to provide guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback. Identify areas for team development and implement training programs to foster professional growth.
  • Resource Management: Manage resources effectively, ensuring optimal allocation and utilization to achieve strategic goals. Balance workload and ensure efficient task management.
  • Client Management and Communication: Manage critical clients and escalations, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues. Communicate effectively with senior management, clients, and stakeholders, presenting information clearly and concisely.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead cross-functional projects and collaborate effectively with other departments, including Finance, Account Management, and Technology, to ensure seamless campaign execution and client satisfaction.

  • Clear and Effective Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients, senior management, and stakeholders.
  • Expertise in Budget Management and Resource Allocation: Experience in managing budgets and allocating resources effectively.
  • Excellent Communication Skills for Presentations: Excellent communication skills for presenting to senior management and clients, conveying information clearly and concisely.
  • Design and Implement L&D: Ability to design and implement learning and development programs for the team, fostering professional growth and skill development.
  • Experience Working with International/Clients Teams: Experience working with international/clients teams, understanding different cultural nuances and communication styles.
  • Strong Background in Digital/Traditional Media Billing: A strong understanding of the digital and traditional media billing processes.
  • Individual Contribution: Ability to provide individual contributions to the team's workload, demonstrating expertise and efficiency in media reconciliation tasks.

Qualifications - Desired Skills

  • Experience with Multiple Ad Servers: Experience with multiple ad servers (e.g., CM360, Flashtalking, Adform) and ad-verification platforms (e.g. IAS, DV, MOAT) is a plus.
  • Media Reconciliation Expertise: Hands-on Media Agency Billing experience/Process Awareness is a plus
  • Data Analysis Skills: Ability to analyze campaign data, identify trends, and draw actionable insights.
  • Process Improvement Expertise: Experience in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Global Team Experience: Experience working with global teams across different time zones and cultures.
