KiE Square Analytics - DevOps Engineer - Data Security (4-6 yrs)

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer - Data Security to join our team and ensure the protection, availability, and integrity of our systems and data throughout the development lifecycle.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and implement secure pipelines, monitor security threats, and apply best practices in cloud and on-premises environments.

Key Responsibilities :

Secure CI/CD Pipelines :

- Develop and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines to automate code deployment while ensuring data protection and secure integrations.

- Implement security measures like code scanning, vulnerability management, and artifact signing.

Cloud and Infrastructure Security :

- Configure and monitor security in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) to safeguard infrastructure.

- Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) security best practices (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).

- Secure containerized environments using tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

Compliance and Governance:

o Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001).

o Implement security policies and access controls across environments.

Incident Response :

- Monitor and respond to security threats and breaches using SIEM tools.

- Conduct root cause analyses of security incidents and implement preventive measures.

Monitoring & Observability :

- Implement security monitoring solutions and logging frameworks

- Set up alerting for security-related events and anomalies

Identity & Access Management (IAM) :

- Manage and maintain IAM policies across cloud platforms

- Implement Zero Trust security principles

Disaster Recovery :

- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans

- Conduct regular backup and recovery testing

Collaboration and Education :

- Work with development, operations, and security teams to integrate secure practices into workflows.

- Advocate for security awareness and provide training to internal teams on secure development practices.

Skills & Qualifications Required :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- Strong understanding of DevOps practices, tools, and methodologies.

- Proficiency in securing cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

- Hands-on experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI, or similar CI/CD tools.

- Expertise in security frameworks (e.g., OWASP, NIST, CIS).

- Knowledge of secrets management tools (e.g., HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager).

- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
