Degree
For the first part, we want you to create two explainer videos. The topics are: Dividing polynomials by other polynomials. Decimal expansions of rational numbers
Keep these guidelines in mind.
The target audience is a confused learner of grade 9/10 CBSE.
Video length should not exceed 10 minutes.
Ensure it s hitting student pain points (major confusion area, misconception, complex topic, etc.). Prioritise depth over breadth.
Generate curiosity. Extra points if you can blow the learner s mind away.
Feel free to use any video creation style. Get creative.
Finally, be yourself. Have fun.
Note: We will only gauge the explanation. Not the visual/aesthetics
(File types: pdf, doc, docx, txt, rtf)
For the second part, create one Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) each to test students understanding of the following two skills: - Ability to identify correct congruence criteria to prove congruence of triangles. - Ability to apply properties of tangents drawn to a circle. So, a total of two MCQs.
Keep these guidelines in mind.
Create a question that addresses a pain point of the student within the topic and tests conceptual understanding.
Each MCQ should also have a short, step-by-step explanation on how to arrive at the solution. In a conversational tone.
(This isnt just about providing the solution, but about guiding the learner, much like a teacher would do in a classroom, nudging the confused learners towards the right answer rather than simply handing it over. So, the first hint shouldn t reveal too much but only nudge the student in the right direction.)
Choose good distractors/incorrect options for the question.
We will be gauging your ability to write and communicate complex topics in a manner that students can grasp without being overwhelmed.
