GL Accountant will assist with accounting and will be instrumental in the financial close process.

This includes, recording transactions including invoices and initiating payments , preparing G/L accountant reconciliations and will also play significant role in compliance part for direct and indirect taxes for India region.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:.

Prepare month-end journal entries and monthly close deliverables.

Own accounting for Invoices and make vendor payments.

Prepare monthly flux analysis for management review.

Prepare audit support for external and internal audits.

Own accounting and process documentation for areas that may include revenue, cash, fixed assets, prepaids, and month-end accruals.

Assist in developing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures & implementing internal control procedures.

Assist in Direct and Indirect Tax Filings and SEZ filings.

Establish effective relationships and work cross-functionally across the organization.

Drive process improvements and efficiencies for areas of responsibility.

Assist in any accounting-related system implementations.

Participate in special projects, analysis, and reporting as and when required.

Requirements:.

Advanced knowledge of MS Office.

Experience in finance (accounting, financial controlling or external audit).

Great communication skills and proactive approach in issue resolution.

Experience with ERP and other reporting systems such as MS Business Central, Dynamics NAV, Oracle NetSuite, Hyperion Reporting, etc .

5 years of experience in accounting function.
