Purpose of the role:
- This role is an outbound calling role & identifying new prospects/leads that match the client specifications (BANT Criteria) via tactics such as tele outbound calling, web research, email and setting appointments.
- We are seeking an experienced Cloud Sales Specialist (Lead Generation) with a strong background in the IT industry, specifically focused on cloud solutions and AI software.
- The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of overall cloud sales experience, with significant exposure to the Australia and Southeast Asia markets.
Responsibilities:
- Market Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of the Australia and Southeast Asia markets, including key industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
- Cloud Solutions: Utilize expertise in cloud-native technologies, Kubernetes, DevOps, APIs, and related solutions to drive sales and meet customer requirements.
- Client Engagement: Engage with senior executives and decision-makers in B2B enterprises, establishing rapport and delivering tailored solutions.
- Sales Performance: Achieve and exceed sales targets, demonstrating a results-driven approach and a passion for goal attainment.
- Professionalism: Interact professionally and reliably with senior-level executives, maintaining high integrity and a team-first mentality.
- Efficiency: Operate with a strong sense of urgency and efficiency, ensuring timely completion of tasks and projects.
- Initiative: Take proactive initiative in identifying opportunities, multitasking effectively, and prioritizing workload to maximize productivity.
- Communication Skills: Exhibit exemplary verbal and written English communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail in all communications.
- Education and Background: Possess a background in Engineering or MBAs, complemented by relevant certifications and ongoing professional development in cloud technologies.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 4+ years of cloud sales experience in the IT industry, with a focus on the Australia and Southeast Asia markets.
- Knowledge: Fair understanding of cloud and AI software, including terminology associated with major public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Sales Approach: Proven track record in B2B enterprise selling, showcasing a hunting sales mentality and a history of achieving sales goals.
- Skills: Ability to work independently as a self-starter while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt sales strategies to diverse market conditions and customer requirements.
- Additional Advantage: Prior experience with Australian and Southeast Asian clients, understanding regional business practices and cultural nuances.
Additional Skills:
- Technical Aptitude: Technical certifications or a background in IT engineering would be advantageous.
- Global Perspective: Awareness of global cloud computing trends and their impact on regional markets.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in additional languages relevant to the Southeast Asia market is a plus.
