AWS DevOps Engineer

What you get to do in this role

• Build and maintain AWS cloud platform and support applications.

• Experience of working on distributed systems

• Work on upstream Kubernetes (written in GO).

• Responsible for development and maintenance of infrastructure configuration

• Develop passion to work on TK8

• Having interest to explore Open Shift and Rancher

• Continually focus on improving the monitoring & alerting of applications and infrastructure

• Work effectively in collaboration with other team members

Must Have:

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate must have

• Overall 5+ years of DevOps experience of which minimum 03+ years in deploying builds on the cloud platforms

• Experience in delivery of applications on any one of the public cloud platforms preferably AWS

• Experience in Kubernetes

• Experience in developing CI/CD using Jenkins

• Experience in provisioning Infrastructure by using Infra-as-code tools

• Good understanding of Linux software packaging, distribution, and configuration

• Good at programming languages like Python, Django, Go, Bash, Powershell, R or Scala is a must.

• Good knowledge of AWS, Cloud and Microservices

• Relevant experience in working on different version control systems like GIT, Subversion, CVS.

• Hands-on experience in Application performance monitoring, Container performance and security

• Should be a self-starter with high initiative, team player, with good debugging capabilities

• Good interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, written & verbal communication skills.

Education: Any Graduate, preferably with BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
