Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Ceramic Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, with expertise in the ceramic industry, particularly in refractory sales to the glass and non-ferrous industries. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, strong relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of market trends.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Sales Target Achievement: Drive and achieve refractory sales targets in the glass and non-ferrous industries across India.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key industry players, stakeholders, and clients, ensuring long-term partnerships.
  • Market Analysis: Continuously analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth and business expansion.
  • Collaboration with R&D: Work closely with the Research and Development (R&D) team to introduce technologically superior products that meet market demands and exceed client expectations.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement effective sales strategies to capture new business while maintaining and expanding existing client accounts.
  • Territory Management: Oversee and manage the sales territory across India, ensuring optimal coverage, customer service, and market penetration.

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelors degree is required (Diploma or BE in Ceramic Engineering preferred).
  • Proven experience in sales, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).

Preferred Skills:


  • In-depth knowledge of the ceramic industry, particularly in refractory products.
  • Strong industry network, particularly in glass and non-ferrous sectors.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and competitor activity to drive sales growth.
