Peoplesoft 1099

We require a consultant with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in PeopleSoft, specifically within financial modules related to 1099 reporting. The consultant will be responsible for analyzing IRS changes, implementing necessary technical adjustments, conducting testing, and providing comprehensive documentation. Responsibilities Review and analyze the IRS updates regarding Form 1099-NEC and Form 1099-MISC to understand functional implications for PeopleSoft. Implement necessary technical changes to PeopleSoft objects, including supplier records and withholding types, to ensure compliance with the new IRS requirements. Conduct thorough testing of the implemented changes to verify accuracy and compliance, ensuring that all functionalities work as intended. Create comprehensive design documentation detailing the changes made, testing procedures followed, and results obtained to facilitate future reference. Provide the finalized patch containing all modifications to the PeopleSoft system for deployment. Work closely with the Kastech Management Team and other stakeholders (as required) to ensure smooth integration of changes into existing workflows. Requirements

• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in PeopleSoft consulting within financial modules related to 1099 reporting
• Proficient in PeopleSoft development tools (PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQL) for making necessary technical adjustments
• Strong understanding of IRS regulations regarding 1099 forms and withholding requirements
• Proven capability in designing and executing test plans to ensure compliance with functional requirements
• Must be available for short-term contract engagements, with flexibility to start immediately

• Ability to analyze complex information and provide actionable insights for system improvements
